Charging

"What do you mean I can't just use AA's!?"

Everything you need to charge up your packs to fly, from chargers and PSUs to parallel boards and other accessories.

Batteries we use in FPV are not single-use disposable items, so we need a way to charge them. This list covers chargers and other charging equipment across a range of price points.

Always make sure that you're charging in a safe environment, and never leave your batteries unattended while charging. Everything in this list should be solid, but nothing can truly be completely safe.

Likely one of the best 1s chargers. As the name suggests, it can also put your packs to store voltage for more lifetime. You can easily charge up to 6 HV LiPos at up to 1.3A with a DC PSU or even a USB C power brick!
ViFly ToothStor

65W Max power
The ToothStor is a simple 2s charger following everything that ViFly learned on the 1s WhoopStors. It has ports to charge through the JST XH balance plug, or BetaFPV's new BT3.0 connector, at up to 1.5A per output
DC Chargers
ToolkitRC M7
$39.99
XT60 In
7-28V DC In
1x XT60 Out
200W ?
Max power
200W Max power
The ToolkitRC M7 is probably the cheapest charger worth buying for larger batteries. With 200W at the output, it can even handle parallel charging at such a low cost and size (if you have a powerful enough PSU)
ToolkitRC M8P
$49.99
XT60 In
7-35V DC In
1x XT60 Out
600W ?

600W Max power
The price of this thing kinda surprised me. The M8P can go up to 600W, and charge batteries up to 8S! Great if you're after a powerful DC charger, or want to experiment with higher cell counts
ToolkitRC M6D
$69.99
XT60 In
7-28V DC In
2x XT60 Out

500W Max power
What's better than one output? Two outputs! The ToolkitRC M6D has two output ports to charge multiple batteries at the same time without having to use a parallel board
Hota P6
$79.99
XT60 In
10.5-30V DC In
2x XT60 Out
600W ?
Max power
600W Max power
Hota makes excellent chargers, though usually limited to $100+. The Hota P6 brings the price down a bit for a charger that still performs really well with all the features from their higher-end chargers, like dual outputs and higher balancing current
Hota T6
$36.99
USB PD In
XT60 In
10-30V In
XT60 Out
90W (PD)
300W (XT60)
The Hota T6 is an amazing charger for its price - it's likely the first charger with USB PD input I'd reasonably trust. 90W via USB PC/QC is plenty for charging even fairly large batteries, or basic parallel charging. And being transparent is also a + :)
AC Chargers

Everyone recommends this charger, and for all the right reasons! It's an excellent straightforward option if you don't want to mess around with PSUs, and it has a good record of safety

If you have a lot of money to spend, the Hota F6+ is probably the last charger you'll ever need. This cube-shaped charger can go up to 250W per port, and there are 4 of them! You may need to find an XT90 PSU, or make one yourself though

The ToolkitRC M7AC is a great versatile charger. It has an XT60 and XT30 output to charge all sizes of batteries without an adapter, and even in its small size it can do up to 100W from AC to easily handle basic parallel charging needs
ToolkitRC Q4AC

The 4s rating of the ToolkitRC Q4AC makes it perfect for charging all your micro packs. If you fly sub250g, it's a great option for charging up to 4 packs at once. It has an XT30 version as well, so you can go completely without adapters
